Meissen group of Europa and the Bull. Europa sitting on white bull with two female attendants sitting either side of her. The god Zeus has transformed himself in to a docile white bull in order to gain the confidence of Europa before he carries her off in to the sea and on to the island of crete where she bore him three sons. First modelled by JJ Kaendler 1760.
